Help us say yes
to more animals.
For over 30 years, Healthcare for Homeless Animals has funded medical care for animals at Agoura Animal Care Center. We believe every animal has the right to quality healthcare, compassionate support, and a second chance.
Healthcare for Homeless Animals was built by volunteers. It began with volunteers who saw treatable animals at risk and understood what was possible. With access to the right medical care, an animal who is sick, injured, senior, overlooked, or vulnerable can heal and be adopted.
We are building a dedicated volunteer team so we can continue growing our mission and funding the medical needs of our shelter animals with the care and commitment it deserves.
If you love animals and have time, skills, ideas, resources, or simply the heart to show up, we would love to hear from you.
Saving Lives
Funding medical care for treatable animals who deserve the chance to heal, be adopted, and live the lives still ahead of them.
Run by Volunteers
Every person on our team gives their time, heart, resources, and energy because they believe these animals are worth showing up for.
Funded
As an independent nonprofit, our work is sustained by donors, sponsors, grants, fundraising, and the generosity of people who care.
Chances
When medical care is funded, animals can heal, recover, and move closer to the safe, loving homes they deserve.
How you can help.
There is no single way to show up for the animals. Our volunteers bring different strengths, schedules, and skills to the work. Whether you are hands-on, creative, strategic, or quietly behind the scenes, every role plays a part in helping Healthcare for Homeless Animals fund the medical care our shelter animals at Agoura Animal Care Center need to heal and be adopted.
