A warm, heartfelt evening with the people who have shown up for these animals for three decades. Volunteers, vets, staff, partners, and supporters all in one room, raising a glass to the lives saved, the bonds built, and the 30 incredible years that brought us all here together.
A beautiful evening of food, drinks, and dessert in an elevated setting. Come hungry, stay for the company, and save room for something sweet. This is a proper celebration and we are treating it like one, from the very first bite all the way through to the last toast of the night.
Come meet some of HHA's most beloved alumni animals and the forever families who chose them and gave them a real happy ending. These are the moments we work so hard for every day, and there is nothing quite like seeing them in person. Tissues are welcome and completely encouraged.

Thousands of Lives Saved, One Paw at a Time.
In 1996, one volunteer walked into the Agoura Animal Care Center and witnessed something she could not accept: animals with treatable conditions being euthanized. Not because they could not be saved, but because there was no funding for their care. She did not wait. She started funding treatments herself.
Thirty years later, that single act of love has grown into a nonprofit that funds medical care for every animal at Agoura who needs it. We are not government funded. Every life saved exists because of private donors, sponsors, and a community that refuses to look away.
How We Got Here
- One volunteer personally funded the first animal treatments out of her own pocket
- Founded in 1996 as Malibu Pet Companions with one mission: medical care saves lives
- Built key vet partnerships offering discounted services to shelter animals
- Launched annual fundraisers to sustain and grow the mission
- Grew a foster program giving recovering animals a safe place to heal
- Proved it works: medical care reduces euthanasia and increases adoptions
- New leadership revitalized the mission with expanded bylaws and a bigger vision
- Grew beyond Agoura to fund transfer animals from shelters across all of LA County
- Launched Forever Young: dedicated senior care for animals aged 7 and above
- Created Raising B.A.R. in Blake Anthony Rosen's memory to save high risk animals
- Foster Care and Hospice programs extended care to every stage of an animal's journey
- Grew community reach through newsletters, social media, walk-a-thons and grants
- Among the highest senior pet adoption rates in all of LA County thanks to Forever Young
- Hundreds of animals treated, rehabilitated and placed in loving homes every year
