In loving memory of Blake Anthony Rosen, Healthcare for Homeless Animals established Raising the B.A.R. to carry forward his love for all creatures, great and small.
Blake passed away in 2023 at just 25 years old. To honor his memory, Raising the B.A.R. continues to help animals in urgent need receive the medical care that may give them another chance.

Raising the B.A.R. helps make it possible for Agoura Animal Care Center staff‑approved sick or injured animals from high-intake shelters to be transferred to Agoura when specialized medical care may give them another chance.

Agoura Animal Care Center staff may approve a sick or injured animal from a high-intake shelter for transfer to Agoura.

Medical care is funded
Healthcare for Homeless Animals helps fund the exams, diagnostics, procedures, surgery, medication, and other veterinary care the animal needs through our veterinary partners.

With treatment, recovery, and time, that animal has another opportunity to heal and find a loving home.
