We'd like to invite you to support the 2024 Healthcare for Homeless Animals Walk-a-thon, beginning Sunday, April 28 and continuing through Saturday, May 4. 

How it works: 

Each day of the week is a team, and each team is named after one of our HHA Alumni dogs- you may recognize many of them from previous social media posts! Every doggy resident at Agoura is walked multiple times a day by our volunteers, and during our walk-a-thon fundraiser, they’ll be tallying their laps by day- the most laps win! Here are the teams:

Sunday, 4/28 - Team Ghost + Willy (fka Kit)

Monday, 4/29- Team Shadow

Tuesday, 4/30 - Team Juniper 

Wednesday, 5/1 - Team Bug (fka Blanco)

Thursday, 5/2 - Team Sophie

Friday, 5/3 - Team Gizmo

Saturday, 5/4 - Team Pitufo 

How you can participate: Choose a team to sponsor and donate in one of two ways! If you’d like to donate a flat fee, you can do so directly on our website at healthcareforhomelessanimals.org/donate, or on Venmo at healthcareforhomelessanimals.  Just note the team you’re sponsoring!  Or if you prefer, you can mail a check made out to Healthcare for Homeless Animals, PO Box 7401, Thousand Oaks CA, 91359. 

If you’d like to donate by lap (for as little as $.10 a lap) you can fill out our sponsor form (download it here!) and email it to HHAAgoura@gmail.com. We’ll update you with the amount of laps tallied at the end of your team’s day.

All donations are tax deductible and go directly toward funding medical care for our animals at the Agoura Animal Care center. We’ll be posting lots of updates on our instagram and facebook accounts during the event, so please follow - and follow along!
